Free SaaS valuation calculator
Enter your category, monthly revenue, monthly profit, project age and (optionally) traffic, tech stack and a short description. The calculator returns a low, mid and high price range for your SaaS, app or online business. It is an estimate to help you set an asking price, not financial, legal or investment advice.
How valuation works
Revenue and profit multiples
Small online businesses are usually priced as a multiple of profit (seller's discretionary earnings) or, for subscription SaaS, of recurring revenue. The multiple, not just the revenue, is what moves the price.
Growth and age
A longer, stable track record and a rising trend usually support a higher multiple. A very young project or declining numbers usually mean a lower one.
Churn and risk
High customer churn, revenue concentrated in one or two customers, or a business that depends on the owner's daily work all lower the price. The optional risk questions in the calculator apply these adjustments.
Pre-revenue projects
Without revenue there is no multiple to apply. Pre-revenue projects and source code are usually priced by the work they save a buyer: the time and cost it would take to build the same thing, plus the domain, design and any users or audience.
