Company Compliance is a live, working web app for UK small-company directors, bookkeepers and formation agents. The hook: type any UK company number and in seconds you see every Companies House and HMRC deadline, plus the estimated fine for missing each one. What it does - Add a company by number: name, status, officers, address and next due dates come live from the free Companies House API. - Compliance items created automatically: confirmation statement, annual accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT (if registered) and PSC identity verification (worked out per person under the rules from 18 Nov 2025). - One-click sync with Companies House. - Dashboard with status banner, timeline, most-urgent card, multi-company portfolio view and in-app notifications. - Penalty estimates per item based on GOV.UK guidance, with source links. - Admin back office: users, plan changes, overrides, event and audit logs. - Pricing tiers already built (Free, £19/mo, £89/mo); payments deliberately not connected, so you can add Stripe. - Google sign-in, a no-login demo, contact form, Privacy, Terms and Disclaimer pages. Proof it's solid - Live at companycompliance.app with Google sign-in tested end to end. - 22 automated tests pass; production build passes. - Pre-sale clean-up done in Oct 2026: admin access fails closed, tighter input handling, safer logs, penalty figures updated to current GOV.UK rules. Tech stack React + TypeScript + Vite + Tailwind front end; Node 20 + Express back end; PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM; Companies House API (free key) and Google OAuth. No AI or paid APIs, so running costs are just hosting and the database. Hosted on Replit Autoscale; runs on any Node host. Honest status Pre-revenue: no paying customers and no active users. Payments are off on purpose. Known gaps - Two dependency advisories (zod high, a parser moderate) need a routine package upgrade. - Reminders are in-app only (no email yet); VAT dates are entered by the user. - Privacy/Terms operator details should be updated to the new owner's business. - www subdomain not yet set up (main domain works). What's included and handover - Full source code (project shared for remix into your Replit account, or a zip/GitHub repo). - The companycompliance.app domain (registered over 60 days ago, so it can move to your Replit account or any registrar). - Database schema and a written handover guide. - You'll need your own Replit account, Google sign-in keys and a free Companies House API key. - Payment via Escrow.com; released once code and domain have moved to you.
