Description

Home bakers underprice because they never work out what a batch really costs. CrumbCost does it in a minute: enter the ingredient prices you actually pay, and it turns them into a batch cost, a cost per cookie, cake or cupcake, and a clean customer quote. It runs entirely in the browser, so recipes and prices stay on the user's device. WHAT YOU GET - A finished, live site: ingredient list with package size and price, recipes by weight, volume or count, labor and packaging costs. - Margin what-if: set a target margin and see the suggested price per item, or enter your own price and see the margin. - Customer-ready quote that shows only items, quantities and prices and hides internal costs. - Local-only storage with backup and restore. Currencies: INR, USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD. - Mobile-first layout, a labeled demo mode, plus About, Privacy and Contact pages with a working contact email. - Costing math checked by hand on sample recipes. - Zero server cost: no backend, no database, nothing to maintain. WHY IT IS AN EASY YES - Launch-ready: nothing to build. Add a domain, a Pro tier or ads and go. - Clear niche: home bakers, cloud kitchens and small food sellers who quote by message. - Privacy angle: no sign-up, no data collected. - Simple to hand over: static front end, easy to understand and extend. MONETIZATION IDEAS (potential, not current income) - Pro tier: unlimited saved recipes, PDF quotes, cloud sync. - SEO pages per bake ("cookie cost calculator", "cake pricing calculator"). - Affiliate links to baking supplies and packaging. - Bundle with other small-business calculators. STATUS: Live and working. New project, pre-launch: no traffic, users or revenue yet. INCLUDED: full source code, the live site and a handover walkthrough. No custom domain is included (the site runs on a Vercel subdomain, which does not transfer).

How the escrow transaction works

  1. 1. Payment to escrow

You pay for the listing — funds go to an escrow account, not directly to the seller.

  2. 2. escrow_held — funds secured

Funds are locked. The seller transfers the domain, code and access.

  3. 3. in_inspection — inspection period (7 days)

Check the assets you received and confirm receipt to release the funds.

  4. 4. completed — funds released

Transaction complete. The business is now yours.

Funds are released to the seller only after you confirm receipt of the assets.

Make an offer

Buyers send offers with an optional message. The seller can accept, decline or counter with a different amount — the full history stays visible to both sides.

Sign in to make an offer — it takes a few seconds and the seller is notified by email.

Ask the seller

Ask about revenue, tech stack, or the handover process. The conversation stays within the platform.
